Location & Log Policy

Effective date: July 14, 2026

amgine Inc. ("Company") processes location information (at the country/region level) derived from access IP addresses, as well as access logs, in the course of operating the URL shortening service Gottarun ("Service"). This policy explains the scope, purpose, and retention period of that information.

1. Location and Log Data Collected

• The access IP address recorded when a short URL is clicked
• Country-level location information derived from the access IP address (using a GeoIP database; approximate country/region-level information, not precise location)
• Access timestamp and click count
• Access logs for the website and admin dashboard (access IP, access timestamp, requested path, etc.)

The Service does not collect precise device location data via GPS or similar means, and only processes approximate country/region-level location information based on IP address.

2. Purpose of Collection and Use

• Providing click statistics per short URL, such as country/region-level access distribution
• Detecting and blocking fraudulent use, abuse, and abnormal automated access
• Responding to service outages and investigating security incidents

3. Retention Period

Access logs and location information are retained for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose of collection and then destroyed, except where a different retention period is separately required by applicable law (such as the Protection of Communications Secrets Act).

4. Provision to Third Parties

The Company does not disclose location information or log data to outside parties without user consent, except where required by law or requested by an investigative agency in accordance with lawful procedure.
