Effective date: July 14, 2026
amgine Inc. ("Company") uses cookies to provide the URL shortening service Gottarun ("Service"). This Cookie Policy explains which cookies the Company uses, for what purpose, and how users can manage their use.
1. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in a user's browser when visiting a website, which allows the website to recognize the user or remember prior usage information on a return visit.
2. Cookies the Company Uses
| Cookie | Purpose | Retention Period |
|---|---|---|
| Login session cookie | Maintains login state and authentication. Required for features that need login, such as the admin dashboard. | Until logout or session expiry |
| Browser identifier cookie (run902_bid) | Identifies a non-member user's browser so that short URLs created from the website and from the browser extension can be linked under the same identifier. This is a random value that does not identify an individual. | Until deleted, up to 1 year |
The Company does not currently use third-party tracking cookies for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. How to Manage Cookies
Users can refuse to store cookies or delete stored cookies through their web browser's settings menu. However, refusing the login session cookie may restrict access to features that require login, such as the admin dashboard.
