Terms of Service

Effective date: July 14, 2026

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between amgine Inc. ("Company") and users in connection with the use of the URL shortening service Gottarun ("Service") provided by the Company.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" means the service that converts a URL entered by a user into a shortened URL and redirects to it, together with click statistics for that shortened URL.
  • "User" means any registered or unregistered person who uses the Service under these Terms.
  • "Short URL" means a short-form URL generated by the Service that redirects to the original URL.

3. Effect and Amendment of the Terms

The Company posts the content of these Terms on the initial screen of the Service, or a linked screen, so that users can easily access them. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent it does not violate applicable law, and any amended Terms take effect upon notice within the Service.

4. Provision and Modification of the Service

The Company provides the following services:

  • URL shortening and redirection
  • Click statistics for shortened URLs
  • Short URL history management through a user account
  • URL shortening integration via a browser extension

The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, and will provide advance notice within the Service. In unavoidable circumstances, notice may be given after the fact.

5. User Obligations

Users shall not engage in any of the following:

  • Stealing another person's information or registering false information
  • Shortening URLs that link to malware, phishing, spam, or other content that harms others or violates applicable law
  • Disrupting the stable operation of the Service, such as by generating an excessive volume of requests
  • Infringing the intellectual property rights of the Company or any third party
  • Any other act that violates applicable law

If a user violates any of the above, the Company may delete the relevant short URL or restrict the user's access to the Service without prior notice.

6. Company Obligations

The Company shall not engage in any act prohibited by applicable law or these Terms, or that is contrary to public morals, and shall strive to provide the Service continuously and reliably. The Company protects users' personal information in accordance with applicable law and the Company's Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable when it is unable to provide the Service due to force majeure, acts of nature, or causes attributable to the user. The Company does not guarantee the reliability or accuracy of content that a shortened URL links to, and is not liable for any resulting damages.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute between the Company and a user arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction determined under the Civil Procedure Act.
